Foremen
Each home we build has a foreman assigned to it. It is the foreman's job to answer all technical questions and concerns pertaining to the customer's home. The foreman guides the customer, step by step, through each stage of the building process and attends all field meetings with clients and subcontractors as well as all necessary approval and on site walk-through meetings. The foremen are responsible for coordinating and overseeing all subcontractor scheduling and installations as well as updating the Project Coordinator and Homeowner of job progress. Additionally, the foreman oversees and attends all township inspector meetings.
Unlike many of our competitors, our foremen are skilled craftsmen and possess heavy traditional carpentry skills and are well qualified to perform any level of carpentry necessary on the residence which they are supervising. This provides them with an enormous level of expertise and consequently allows them the ability to readily find and remediate conditions, which could provoke the finished product well after the first few years of home ownership. This is an acquired skill only procured through years of being a tradesman, which cannot be learned through business management or project management/logistics credit hours. To put it simply, these gentlemen possess the skills and knowledge, which are unparalleled in today's contemporary carpentry practices that have provided for a new industry concept of shelf life relating to the housing industry. We still believe that one's home is a permanent entity, which should be designed and constructed to last through time without using such terms as designed obsolescence or acceptable limits of service.
